FIRST DAY SCHEDULE:
It is important that all students and one parent attend the opening day orientation held in the West Valley College Theater, regardless of prior enrollment.
             Session I: June 23, 8:00 – 8:20 am
             Session II: July 14, 8:00 – 8:20 am
There is a $2.00 (8 quarters) parking fee. Orientation packets will be mailed out with class schedule(s) one week prior to the session starting. After the first day, students report directly to their first class.
LUNCH
There is a lunch break from 11:40 am to 12:10 pm.
Students may buy lunch on campus or bring a lunch to be eaten at the supervised lunch area. Neither the College nor Community Education is responsible for students who do not eat at the assigned area or leave the area before the designated time.

Note: The cafeteria will be closed on Fridays, please send lunch with your child.
MORNING DROP-OFF
Morning drop-off time is 8:20 – 8:25 am. Students should be dropped off at the parking lot nearest their first period class with enough time to walk to their classroom by 8:30 am. Attendance will be taken at the start of each class period. Please avoid stopping curbside and blocking traffic as police issue citations for failure to obey traffic rules.
AFTERNOON PICK-UP
Afternoon pick-up occurs only in parking lot #2 at 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
Students will be asked to wait in the front yard of the Community Ed building where they will have a view of arriving vehicles.
A Traffic Monitor will be on-site to assist with safe crossing into parking lot 2. Students are to notify the Traffic Monitor of their pick-up vehicle arrival before leaving the yard.

Please call the office at (408) 741-2096 if you will be arriving more than 15 minures late.

Students remaining after 4:15 pm will be asked to wait in the Community Ed Office and a $15 late pick-up fee will be charged per 15 minutes.
ABSENCES/MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS
All absences should be called into the Community Education Office at
(408) 741-2096 prior 8:30 a.m.
Students arriving late or leaving early for medical appointments are to check in with the Community Education Office not individual instructors. Please call or send a note to dismiss your child early.
